eMed Study Program

a) What we need from you

If you opted to be enrolled in the Study, we need you to meet all the requirements listed below. If you fail to meet any of the requirements during the 12-month period, your continuation on the Study may be prevented - please see below:

  1. Initial Requirement – To begin enrollment in the Study, you must create an eMed account and purchase a GLP-1 Screening blood test for a fee of forty-nine dollars ($49), which is nonrefundable.
  2. Onboarding and Detailed Eligibility (this must have been completed on or before March 31, 2026, which may be subject to change) - You will then be prompted to download our app and complete your onboarding check-in. Once you receive your GLP-1 screening Kit, you will need to scan the QR code to complete the final stages on your onboarding journey. You must complete a detailed eligibility questionnaire on your medical history.
Then during your check-in, you will be required to complete ID verification by producing a copy of an official government photo ID. If you do not verify your identification, we will ask you to check-in again when you have it. If you do not complete this process, you may not join the GLP-1 Program.
After completing identity verification, we will verify your height and weight. You must have access to a weighing scale to complete this process.
  3. Complete Initial Blood Test  -
    1. Blood test kits are typically processed and shipped within seventy-two (72) business hours of order placement, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Once shipped, kits are sent via FedEx two-day service. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed, and the Company is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, supply chain issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    2. Follow the instructions contained in the kit to complete the testing process. If the blood sample you send is not sufficient or missing, then we will notify you and send another blood test kit at no additional cost to you. If the second test fails for any reason, you must purchase another kit and complete the testing process to be on the Study. In exceptional circumstances, if we receive partial or inconclusive results from your blood tests, we may allow you to commence the GLP-1 Program subject to you completing a second blood test within a deadline as will be notified to you.
    3. You must send the blood samples within 14 days from the date on which you receive the blood test kit.
    4. You will be able to view a copy of your blood test results in the app within the activities log. If your blood test results reveal that you require treatment for a condition which means that GLP-1 medication would not be suitable for you at this time, we will let you know and your journey on the GLP-1 Program may end.
  4. Stay on the GLP-1 Program - Participation in the Study is expected for 12 months from the date you enrolled in the GLP-1 Program (subject to any clinical restrictions mentioned below).
  5. Clinical restrictions - in case you are unable to continue on the GLP-1 Program as advised by your Primary Care Physician (PCP), you must discuss this clinical restriction with one of our independent licensed clinicians. They may remove you from the GLP-1 Program if you are no longer medically eligible to continue with it.
  6. Weekly in-app check-ins - You may complete a check-in every seven days. However, you must complete 3 check-ins in any 28 day rolling period. If you miss one of these 3 check-ins in the 4 week rolling period, it will count as a “strike”. If you miss 2 of the compulsory 3 check-ins in any 28 day rolling period, this will count as 2 “strikes”. If you have 3 strikes in the 12 month period, you may be removed from the Study. We may, at our sole discretion, continue you in the  Study if the strikes were due to unforeseeable circumstances.
The in-app check-ins are to assess your progress on the weight management journey. When you are due a check-in, our check-ins are available on-demand 24/7 and can be accessed via the eMed app.
Throughout your check-in, make sure that you are in a suitable place with a good internet connection and are able to turn on your video for verified weight collection. More guidance on this is available in our FAQs. You may be required to weigh yourself and record the weight during the check-in. We may record your video during all check-ins to make sure we're giving you the best service we can. To find out more about how we use this information and how we protect your privacy, see our Privacy Policy.
  7. Blood screening - You will be required to complete 2 further complimentary blood screening tests - at the 6-month and 12-month mark of the Study period. You must collect blood samples and send them for screening (as per the kit instructions) within 14 days from receiving the test kit.
  8. Monthly questionnaire - you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire every 28 day cycle to track your weight management journey. Failure to complete these questionnaires may result in your removal from the Study.
  9. Customer support - you have access to customer support services as detailed in our Help Center. You may contact us if you have any questions. We record all conversations with you and the customer support services to make sure we are giving you the best service we can. To find out more about how we use this information and how we protect your privacy, see our Privacy Policy.

In every case, except 5), if you do not adhere to the requirements mentioned here, you may be removed from the Study.

b) Cost of the eMed GLP-1 Program, Subsidization, and Medication

eMed will subsidize one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of eMed’s GLP-1 Program for eligible Study participants during the applicable Study participation period, as determined by eMed in its sole discretion.

The subsidized eMed GLP-1 Program may include, without limitation, clinical oversight, care coordination, telehealth services, and bi-annual blood testing, as required under the Study protocol.

The duration of the subsidy will be for 12 months. The subsidy applies solely for the duration of active participation in the Study and is contingent upon continued compliance with all Study requirements, eligibility criteria, and these Terms and Conditions.

eMed reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the subsidization of the eMed GLP-1 Program if a participant withdraws from the Study, is withdrawn by eMed, or otherwise fails to comply with Study requirements, subject to applicable law and any required prior notice.

Notwithstanding any subsidization of services provided as part of the Study, Study participants remain solely responsible for the cost of any medications, including GLP-1 medications, prescribed or used in connection with participation in the Study, as well as any applicable shipping, handling, or delivery fees associated with those medications.

Medication costs are not included in the Study subsidy and may vary based on the prescribed medication, dosage, pharmacy or fulfillment partner. Failure to timely pay for prescribed medications may result in delays, interruptions, or discontinuation of medication therapy and may impact continued participation in the Study.

c) Conclusion of Study Participation

Upon completion or expiration of the Study participation period, including any applicable subsidized or reduced-pricing period (which may be up to twelve (12) months or such other duration as determined by eMed), the participant’s enrollment in the Study will automatically terminate.

Following termination of Study participation, the participant may be transitioned to eMed’s then available offerings, subject to eMed’s then-current terms, conditions, eligibility criteria, and program requirements.

Unless the participant affirmatively elects to discontinue services prior to such transition, the participant authorizes eMed to charge the then-current membership or program fees, as in effect at the time of transition, using the payment method on file. Fees, program structure, and included services may change from time to time at eMed’s discretion, subject to applicable law and any required notice.

d) Delivery of medicines and other purchases

Any purchases made by you, including the blood test kits or any medicine prescribed to you, will be delivered to the address provided by you. It is your responsibility to be available on the date of delivery to accept the delivery or collect it. If you are not available, then, by accepting these terms and conditions, you authorize the delivery of your purchase to your neighbor’s place or a safe place as determined by the relevant delivery partner and you agree that this amounts to transfer of physical possession of the purchase to you. If the delivered item or medicine goes missing after it has been delivered, neither the delivery partner nor we will be responsible. We cannot accept returns or give refunds on medicines or medical devices.

By choosing home delivery, you agree to the terms and conditions of our relevant partner pharmacy published here.
